Mr. Charming and I are embarking at our third go at the Whole 30. I haven't been feeling well lately and I know it's because I wasn't full Paleo after the holidays. But I am happy to announce that I am grain and sugar-free & if you've noticed the changes on Nosh & Nurture, you'll notice it is too! Our first Whole 30 lasted an almost-to-the-end 22 days, but I had mentioned why we ended it early, here, and I still don't regret our decision. We felt amazing, we conceived while eating so cleanly and our energy soared toward the end. It also got us back in the groove of cooking healthy eats all the time.
Our second time around, only lasted six or seven days, but it was during Christmas, we had just lost our first little one and it just wasn't the time to start something like the Whole 30. It takes crazy commitment people. So as we are planning some major travels & plan to start trying to conceive again, we thought it was a good choice to reset, detox and try again. In other news, aside from starting our Whole 30 this week, our little schnauzer Charlie graduated Puppy Training School. Some of the classes I thought it was hit or miss for a while, but he made us SO proud. He pass ALL of his tests with flying colors and even earned gluten-free/corn-free/soy-free dog treats!
