Happy National Chocolate day from Nosh & Nurture. For me, chocolate is still a weak spot. Which is funny to me, as I never really cared for chocolate most of my life. When I was little I didn't do much candy, just the occasional craving for wafers or cookies. It's also funny that National Chocolate today is today, as I've had this intense craving to bake all day. I'm excited to announce that I have been made editor of Runway magazine, and our summer issue has been on the newsstands for a week now and promotion is in full force. I'm gearing up for Berlin Fashion Week this week, and as I sit and research and write, I'm craving some yummy paleo chocolate cookies to nosh on. It's also the start of monsoon season here in Arizona. So the thought of curling up after work with a good book and the smell of something lovely baking in the oven sounds way more appealing than going out and getting caught in a dust storm. Which happened to me the other night. And led to me getting another eye infection. *sigh* I need to detox and do some serious meditation and healing prayers this week. But back to chocolate day. YAY. Like I was saying, as a kid, never minded it much. However, in my mid-twenties I fell in love with it. Especially dark chocolate, which worked out well when I had to give up dairy. I was still able to have pure, organic, dairy-free dark chocolate. So, in honor of National Chocolate Day I have listed Nosh & Nurtures top chocolate recipes. Enjoy, indulge a little, and remember, it's a super food that is good to nibble in moderation! Win/Win!
