I have received a lot of requests for nut-free dessert options for readers (and their littles) who can't have nut based flours or milks. I tend to favor almond flour in most of my breads and dessert recipes because I prefer its consistency but there are many other gluten-free, nut-free flour options that make delicious cookies, pies, cakes and smoothies. And for those of you who are regulars, here are a few new ones to try! There are also delicious sweet drinks to sip on, like my Vanilla Strawberry Banana Smoothie or nut-free and dairy-free Hot Chocolate. You can opt for coconut, rice or soy milk to replace almond milk in any recipe.
