It has been a MINUTE since I've done an actual personal, from the heart, "here's where we've been" post on Nosh and Nurture and I feel like I need to bring a lot of that back. Since becoming a mother of two, I feel like I am trying to relearn who I am, or maybe I'm just getting to know the woman I'm growing into. Either way, it's been a lot of adjusting and prayer and self discovery. This year has been spent healing and loving so hard and so big. In 2021 we lost our beloved mother-in-law to the virus. My husband was also very sick and there has been a lot of healing that's needed to take place. My parents are also very ill and it's been a season of struggle co-existing with joy. We are trying to grasp every opportunity and live life to the fullest. With our two sweet bundles of pure light and joy, it's been easy to focus on the goodness and what we are grateful for. God was so right when He said children are the greatest blessing. In the world of babes, we are still homeschooling, LOVING Masterbooks for most subjects and The Good and the Beautiful for math. Greyson graduated Kindergarten and is now in 1st grade and is still the BEST kitchen helper. He plays piano beautifully, is so smart, is reading and is a whiz at math already and he just joined his first soccer team! #SoccerMomWhatUp. Lexi is as smart as her brother, 19 months old and can count to ten, knows her colors, talks up a storm and sings her ABCs. I'm actually mind blown at what she knows just by listening to him. I adore my sweet princess and still can't believe most days that I get to be a girl mom too. On the work front, honestly things slowed down SO, SO much through the pandemic. Having a TV show (something you dreamed of forever) come out the same month a pandemic takes over the world is not ideal. Not even a little bit. We couldn't travel to do the press tour and though viewership started off so strong and the reviews were so humbling and so, so sweet, viewership dwindled and we were left looking for a new home for the show. Luckily, we have found one and I have an amazing producer and co-creator that has unwavering belief in me and us and our projects and we are in the baby stages of creating something new and exciting to bring to our audience and I'm so looking forward to pouring back into my passions and showing my kids that it's important for them to follow their dreams and do the things that bring glory to God and helps others. I'm hoping you all will stick around to see what's next. I would love to know what all of you have been up to? I've missed the personal connection here on the blog. IG has been my home for all of our conversations, and I love that, but this is the place that feels like home. My little space to share me and our little family and home and mission and I'd love to talk to more of you that stop by to hang out amongst it all.

This is a sponsored post promoting Russell Brunson's new book Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers - all opinions and story are my own.
Did you know that each year, tens of thousands of start-ups and independently owned companies fail because the creator doesn't understand the skill of getting consumers to find them?
This post is for my business men and women. We are going to talk about connecting with your perfect audience. In the beginning I know I didn't grasp this, not as well as I should. I thought, like many who have come and gone, that if I made a product that was desirable the right people would find it if I put in a little effort to let the world know I was creating. Knowing how to get your audience to come to you is an essential skill and one that will make or break your business. I recently was honored to partner with Russell Brunson in the launch of his book Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers and it's helped open my eyes to see how I can develop this skill more precisely and help other business men and women like myself, do the same. Putting in the work and making connections DAILY and PURPOSEFULLY has been the biggest key to growth with not only my business, but many other businesses that have followed or have followed this methodology. The foundation of Brunson's direct marketing techniques allow you to be ahead of the trend and see opportunities that you may have missed previously, putting you ahead of your competitors and connecting better with the people you work to serve. The best selling author and CEO of ClickFunnels, Russell Brunson is an entrepeneur I've always looked up to and wanted to learn from. The authenticity of his methods in connection and his concept of funnels for efficiency are so easy and natural to follow. I have loved my journey the last thirty days implementing his methods, the biggest being his Dream 100 foundation that the book is rooted in. By taking on this challenge for your business, passion project or dream you will want to commit just a few minutes a day for thirty days to learn the key strategies that increase site traffic. The biggest problem is never creating your vision, it's getting your future customers to discover it! The book is full of insight, step by step daily tasks, and tips that are pure gold for growth. I will implement this method into all of my businesses. From blog to television, affiliate partnerships to travel - the evergreen methods apply and are so versatile for so many types of business. Traffic Secrets can be one of the best tools in your office. When used daily, it can keep you focused on finding the heartbeat of your business and keep your dream customers and clients on the forefront of your mind, where they should be. Serving them, and not you, is why your business exists, so connecting with them should comprise a large part of your everyday rhythm. Goals are an important part of life. They help keep you focused, organized and driven towards both large and small accomplishments. I've seen many bloggers, creatives and others in the online field sharing their monthly goals for accountability and to inspire others to take action and keep track of goals as well. As a nutritionist, one of the main components of my business is helping people create, achieve and surpass their goals. Below you will find my Personal and Business goals for April. Business Goals

What are some of your April goals? And what keeps you on track?
Now that I've moved into full-time working my blog & brand from home, people started sending me a lot of questions regarding tips, my schedule and how I work different aspects of my journalistic career along with my travel and my blog. While this blog doesn't serve as a marketing or blog branding blog, it is about whole living & balance, and being able to work from home came from the Lord's provisions, preparation, balance and working on my health. I decided to start a small series on how I balance working from home and running my growing brand that I have fallen head over heels in love with. Below I've included the blog tasks I focus on each day, as well as the other tasks I have on that given day. With school & finals and multiple journalistic & coaching endeavors, its important to keep a structured layout that doesn't get boring. Sunday Sunday is primarily a day off for Mr. Charming and I to enjoy church & family, but Sunday evenings I do write out my editorial calendar / class schedule / writing deadlines for the week before we go to sleep. Monday Monday is catch-up day. I answer all comments on the blog from the week before and I connect with the blogging & Christian community. I spend a couple of hours in the blog groups catching up with others and loving on their works as well. My Other Daily Tasks Today: All social media management for our magazine, Runway, which takes most of my day, as well as meal planning for our week & housework. Tuesday I post my latest Tickle Me Tuesday post and prep one other post for the blog. I also participate in many Twitter chats today to connect more with community and study the business of blogging. My Other Daily Tasks Today: School in the A.M for Nutrition, Conference call & social media for my songwriting and music works with Universal in the P.M., housework Wednesday Wednesday is dedicated to Wanderlust. I catch up with travel clients and finalize bookings on up-coming trips and reviews. My Other Daily Tasks Today: I usually submit to more freelance clients or work on freelance projects & do housework. I also make menus and meal plans for new nutrition clients and work on my nutrition branding materials. Thursday Thursday is the day I get my Hootsuite plugged in for the week and catch up on my pins. I also do a blog clean-up if it needs it. My Other Daily Tasks Today: School in the A.M. for nutrition, Holy Yoga, housework and I try to plan a dinner with a girlfriend on Thursday nights since Mr. Charming is in school. Friday Along with my Fitness Friday series, I write two more posts to go out for the week or the following week. I also seek out new organic cafes to review for Zomato. My Other Daily Tasks Today: I assist Mr. Charming in photo editing on his weeks photo shoots, grocery shopping, housework. Saturday We travel most weekends, but when we are home on a Saturday, I do a quick social media check in and then its date day with Mr. Charming! It's not healthy to work ALL the time! What I enjoy is the diversity. Growing up as an entertainer through my teens and twenties, my schedule was ever changing from shows and touring different cities to auditions and shoots. As an adult, I still love the different & I love consistently mixing it up. I would love to know your weekly schedule tips!
