TSO, HCBN & EWG

I'm pulling out all the acronyms today, folks. 

Last night was epic. My husband's work gifted him suite seats to Tran Siberian Orchestra so we turned it into a double date night event with his sister and her husband. We had a suite just to the four of us and our own waiter who brought us drinks. I loved the intimacy of not being in a huge crowd of people. I think one of the things that made this evening so special was that this is a show my husband has always dreamed of seeing.  A little behind on our holiday advent calendar, it was an awesome way to schedule in a Christmas-related night out. The show was INCREDIBLE. The light show, the story and the music were all phenomenal and I'm so glad we went. 

Aside from the amazing concert, this week has been pretty cool which brings me to HCBN. The Her Campus Network, the #1 beauty and style network for college campuses world-wide, featured my Holiday Detox in their Holiday Newsletter. I am beyond honored and continue to be taken aback with my little brand & blog. 

This community continues to love on Nosh & Nurture and I love on the community right back, because seriously, you guys are awesome! 

Now, before I break for lunch today, I come to my third and final acronym. Today's most important one and that is the EWG. The Environmental Working Group is a fantastic organization of people who work hard to keep us alert of what is in our food, beauty and skincare products, and I'm not sure if you've yet been made aware, GMO-Salmon has been federally approved. Which means it's just one more unsafe food that the government is now regulating. More information is located here, with actionable steps we can take to help get our food in the U.S. rightfully labeled, as it should be. 

Make sure to eat clean this holiday season, shop local, shop organic, and if you get a chance, check out Tran Siberian Orchestra when they come through your city, because entertainment is good for the soul.
