German chocolate cake was always one of those desserts that felt a little extra special growing up, it was a favorite of my dads. Rich chocolate, buttery coconut pecan frosting, and the kind of recipe that always made birthdays and celebrations feel a little sweeter. This gluten-free and dairy-free version keeps everything we love about the classic while making it friendly for everyone gathered around the table. Back in 2015, I made these German Chocolate Cupcakes for the blog and felt like the recipe needed a refresh. I used Sunbutter in the old recipe and wanted to elevate them using coffee instead. I hope these bless your table the way they've blessed mine through the years. INGREDIENTSCupcakes

aboutNosh & Nurture was born of this journey I am on to better the health of myself, my family and those around me. What started as a simple compilation of recipes has grown to a all-around lifestyle journal with ways to incorporate organic products into your home, pantry and beauty cabinet. I also include stories on pregnancy, new motherhood, travel, Proverbs 31 marriage, and spiritual health, as I am a Christian who couldn't do any of this without my Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. For more of my story you can click here.
All recipes are gluten-free and dairy-free with a lot of soy-free, grain-free, sugar-free options. |
